Basiková Bára

In the 1980s, she started out with the rock bands Precedens and Stromboli and recorded forty albums, including several solo albums. She is the author of the novel Conversations with Escape and a number of song lyrics. She has played the female leads in the stage musicals Jesus Christ Superstar (1994), Rusalka - The Musical, Joan of Arc, Cleopatra, Lucrezia Borgia, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Lady with the Camellias. She has won many important awards and top positions in polls in the Czech Republic. She considers her children, daughters Anna and Maria and son Theodore, to be her greatest success in life.
